I am definitely what you’d call a card game junkie.  While I’ve managed to skirt away from the more odious implications of a card game addiction, such as compulsive gambling, I can’t help but crave some kind of card game nonetheless.  Whether they are for money or just for fun, card games are a great diversion, and help you to keep mentally sharp.  Today, being a card game addict has never been easier, as there are thousands of online card games to play at any hour you want, with people all over the world.

Online card games are almost always free as well.  Usually you have to register with some site, and in the worst case scenario you may get an occasional email from them, but other than that there is no cost to play.  You can play betting style online card games for free as well; the sites almost always have a form of play currency you can use to make it seem real.   

If fake money isn’t really your thing, there are even online card games for real money as well.  You can play just about any gambling card game you’d see in a casino online, so no longer do you need to save up for a trip to Vegas just to develop your own gambling addiction.  Compulsive gambling has never been easier!  There are no free drinks when you gamble with online card games, but hey, at least there are no video cameras and scary guys in suits either.
